A Different Kind of Pediatric Endocrinology Care in Arkansas
Root-cause, relationship-based care for children and teens with hormonal and metabolic conditions through Lifestyle Medicine.
Why I Started This Practice
After years in academic medicine, I began to notice a pattern.
Children and teens were coming in with real symptoms—fatigue, weight gain, early signs of metabolic disease— for teens, this included irregular periods, excess hair growth and/or hair loss—but often left with:
Reassurance without delving deeper into the other pillars of health besides diet and exercise
Medications that don’t completely treat all the symptoms
Little time to address the whole person, whole family
I knew there had to be a better way to care for these patients.
So I created Endocrine Lifestyle Pediatrics to offer something different: thoughtful, unrushed, root-cause care that supports long-term health—not just short-term symptom relief.
Meet Your Pediatric Endocrinologist
I’m a board-certified pediatric endocrinologist with over 20 years of experience in academic medicine and now focus on metabolic health in children and adolescents, as well as endocrine consultation for parents who want answers and more time with their doctor.
Over the years, I’ve cared for children and teens with:
PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome)
Insulin resistance and prediabetes
Weight and metabolic challenges
Hormonal imbalances affecting growth and development
Irregular periods
We know that many of these conditions are deeply connected, often driven by underlying metabolic dysfunction, AND Intensive lifestyle interventions as a first-line approach to managing chronic diseases ARE evidence-based, endorsed by the American Diabetes Association, the American Heart Association, and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
